Description
This is the first of a series of about five drawings. I'm working on the second one right now.This wasn't done so much as an artistic drawing as it is a decoration. I'm probably going to be moving soon and these are the colors and patterns I would like to see in my home.
I don't think those stripes in the corner really fit the drawing, but I'm not sure yet. I like the clean lines of the stripes contrasted with the organic floral print in the rest of the image; that was done on purpose. I just think that the colors were a little bold for the drawing.

i think that the stripes work. it brings a modern feel to an otherwise traditional, Victorian style picture. [at least thats what the colors and patterns convey to me].

Some really nice color choices here, esp for the bg patterning. Cool stuff.
And I was just about to ask about the stripe pattern on the far right, but you covered that in the description already, heheh. Looks good though; it doesn't clutter, and it kind of sets up the idea that it's like a pallete for wing types or variations.

Yes, I've come to terms with the stripes at this point, although I still feel that they are a little too bright. As for the color choices of the stripes, I wanted to use every single color that I had used in the drawing already, but apparently that was a little too overpowering- probably should have left some white ones, but I will just take that lesson into my next drawing!
