PLEASE BE ADVISED THAT A NEW VERSION IS OUT, includes some bug fixes, redesigning and improvements this version in no longer maintained.NEW VERSION --> ARTEMIS 1.2
This is my second attempt in skinning foobar2k. This is the skin that I am currently using for quite a while. I tried to polish it but there may be still some malfunctions.
Features:
1-Main panel is switchable to (Playlist, Lyrics, Biography, Filtering, Media information, similar artists, Allmusic album review and Auto-playlist)
2-Right panel can be switched between "library tree view" and "Album art view"
3-Middle column in playlist shows DAR auto rating and play-count
4-Display panel is always visible and provide several information about media.
PLEASE FOLLOW THESE STEPS TO INSTALL IT:
1- Make a portable installation of foobar2k
2-Extract downloaded zip file.
3-Install included fonts
(IMPORTANT STEP)
4-Copy all other folders and files to your foobar2k portable installed folder
5-open foobar, select "COLUMNS UI"
6-open FILES and then Preferences, select tools and inside that select WSH panel mode and remove the tick over "Safe mode", click apply
7-now go to Display (we are still in preferences) and "column ui" in FCL importing click import and select "ARTEMIS.FCL" file which included in my zip file.
8-Enjoy!

I am not a script writer, so all the other scripts and pieces are works of others that I just used in this skin.

Are you sure the file is up-to-date? There's quite a few errors left (like this background that just won't appear or things that I can't even find in your scripts), and I know my way around foobar.

I finally had it working, but like the other guy said, we have to give the exact location to several image files (don't use the "background image" in the splitter option, as it's not a dynamic value like %ps_foobar2000_path%). Then I had to manually activate the transparency to every WSH element and button around the NowPlaying/Info panel, otherwise it would have stayed white. Anyway, I think there's potential, but it still needs some work

I am not experienced at JS. This is my second experience with foobar configs and I just tried to make something that works for me and then shared it with others. I had a lot of troubles with using scripts to show the background in "the right location". Finally I gave up and put it in splitter settings.
And yes it needs lot of improvements.

We're never finished learning how to tweak foobar^^
That thing with the background, use $puts(imgpath,%ps_foobar2000_path%\etcetcetc) or $setglobal(....) in ColumnsUI script and ELPlaylist script, this way they'll both go find the images in the same folder (just like with any button image), and you'll just have to use $get(imgpath) to call the backgrounds. You should use ColumnsUI options (those in dialog boxes) as little as possible ; in this case, you've seen that you have to enter a single directory for your backgrounds, whereas the function $puts or $setglobal will work within foobar's main directory, wherever it is on any hard drive.
That being said, you have some features that finally gave me a clue on how to add spotlights on my own skin^^ : fav.me/d7v9nkh

Hi! Thanks for trying my config.
There is a background image that should be seen there. To be precise that is "elegant-grey-illumination-background-presentations-powerpoint-backgrounds1.jpg" located in images folder. Please first check if it is there or not. If not just copy it from original zip file.
Otherwise, you should just set it by right clicking somewhere on current white area and select "Splitter Settings" and set the background location.

First of all, thanks for making this skin, i really like it. But i have a problem with it and i can't figure how to change it. My display panel has a white background, i can't see any information about the current song playing. Here is a screenshot:

And album art is not visible in the right panel, i don't know why. This is my first attempt at skinning foobar, so i can be doing something wrong, but i don't want to quit using this awesome theme
