Now that I look at it, probably not. But it looked very unproportional with a 'standard' handle, so I legthened it until it looked ok to me.

Very nice! I don't know if you're looking for any suggestions, but the only thing I would change would be the hamon line on the blade. They are much more irregular on a hand-forged blade.
Other than that it looks great!

Why is the reflection backwards and whats that under the sword? Is it water or something?

The picture isn't reflected, it's actually part of the material. The floor is just random. I didn't know what to put on the scene so I just made something neutral.
