I love the Phoenix guard, i was wondering could you do a design of it?? I was looking for a design to use as a basis for a sword i am making would you ming me using it? and could you do a sketch or a desaign of it showing the guard and its features?

I'm not exactly sure what you mean by making a design of it. The phoenix guard was made with a simple bump map. If you want I could give you the texture, if that's what you're looking for (it's not very good tough T_T)

It has the original heightmap on the left, and a quick poor-mans lighting representation on the right to show how the bump map effect looks. Is this good?

To be honest, I'd love to, but unfortunately I am often low on time, and more importantly I have never used Cinema 4D. :( (Sad)

However, I may consider attempting making generic tutorials. If you have anything specific in mind, let me know.

I use 3DS Max 2008 for all the 3D work, and Corel Graphics Suite X3 for some of the texturing.
