I drew a character actually doing something and I drew a backround for once!

I like Tails myself, but after Sonic, Big actually is right in there with Knuckles and Shadow and Eggman.
We must be among the few people in the fandom that actually like Big the Cat!

If you ask me, this is your best work up to date.
Pros:
The various "objects" are easy to differentiate from each other due to how you made the different textures and shadows. The fact that Big and the fish is drawn with a much darker shade of gray and that the line art for them is much "bolder" then the background makes it easy for the viewer to see what's the focus of the drawing.
Cons:
It would be nice to see more of the fish. It looks a bit messy on the top when it's just cut of like that. There needs to be some kind of space between the edges of the drawing the action of the characters, especially when the actions are very fast like this. It would also be nice to see some more textures in the water.
Over all, it's still a really good drawing, and I can't wait to see more.

On the pros:
Yeah,I started on Big and the Fish First then added the backround.
That is maybe the reason it turned out that way.
On the Cons:
Actually,funfact:
I showed my friend this drawing without the horn and she said the exact same thing.
Big was basically done at the time and she didnt want me to redo him so she added the horn.
And the water...I aint sure how to texture water that well yet.
