My first painting with strong highlights. A little exaggerated so go easy on me. So this is what you'll encounter in the final scene of the story. the portal activates after we put the key-sphere in the small hole and the twin monsters awaken.Related content

I like the highlights regardless of whether those are visualy acurate they fit the mood well.
the design of the portal is quite unusual most portal designs I have seen are either: circular or a doorway or a hole in the air. thus this alien look is far from cliche it looks wonderful.
The sky is well done I like the red clouds that apear to circle around the portal.
overall, quite an excellent piece.

Beautifully done! The contrast is great (the highlights aren't too intense, don't worry) and the minimalistic color scheme works very well -- the red creates a nice ominous atmosphere.
