Description
You're trapped in a cave. Unfortunately the exit hole is guarded by the mighty M'taaka, a huge serpent usually lurks in humid caves. Locals believes that killing one of them helps one of their gods escape from the prison (cave). It eats bats and insects by sucking it with it's tongue, which got a small sucking hole in it. I've always been a fan of reptile insect hybrids since first seeing sycther on Pokemon when I was 8. Love its striking pose. It also reminds me of a particular type of fiend in Final Fantasy X, though I cant recall what it was called.
Anyway, this is going into my favorites.

That's really not the kind of thing you want to see blocking an exit. Badass monster though, really good design and the name is pretty much flawlessly fitting for it.

If its diet consist of bats and insects it musnt be very large. Large animal need lots of food.

Beautiful job on the rocks of the cave. It really leads the eye and makes you beasty all the more menacing. The colors are also very well executed
