All done!!!!! Yay!! I'll be taking it to the printers for the black and white print and most likely get it back on Thursday...Now it's color'in time!!Anywho, this is a tattoo sleeve for the lovely ! she's been a very patient lady with me. and this is basically the layout for all of the pieces. i just have to figure out how to layer in her original tattoos. hmm..

Domi, it's not like a regular needle. I LOATHE getting shots of any kind...tattoos hurt for sure....some worse, some less, definitely depends on where you get them....but it's a different kind of pain...and after a certain point it just becomes more obnoxious....
Out of all 9 that I have, I'd say my ribs were the very worst. No amount of distraction worked, and it was 2 hours of the cutest worst decision I ever made lol. All the others failed in comparison to that pain threshold lol. You would be totally fine with a small thing on your ankle I think...

I love it!!!! I'm stoked to get it done, and believe you me, you'll be the first one to get pics as it's put on the skin!!! I'm hoping this one will hurt less than my ribs did...because that made me cry lol...

well of course it'll hurt less... there's nothing but bone on your ribs. O_O but i hope you'll be comforted to know that there's only so far the pain threshold will go. since we're chicks we handle pain better.

lol, i don't feel bad for the tattooist... but i feel kind of bad for my client T.T when i finished this piece..it dawned on me that this might be a tad painful.

Ouch, that hurts just thinking about it! lol My best friend recently had one done on the top of her foot, just a small dragonfly, but she said it hurt like hell...makes me rethink getting one done!

well it does hurt. mine hurt, but if you can focus on something like counting things in a magazine it takes the edge off. also, the more meat you've got on the area, the less it hurts.
