In posting this picture I feel I gotta thank Alex @ [link] for her great site. I stumbled on to it when I was looking for reference for this costume and fell in love with her little spot on the web. This is THE Betsy Braddock! Not Betsy-cum-Kwannon, no purple-haired ninja and no psychic knife/katana/whatever! This is what Marvel SHOULD have left well enough alone where this character is concerned.
Thanks so much for doing this! You just made this fan of the Original Psylocke very, very happy! Thanks for sharing and if you ever decide to draw her again, you have my 100-percent total support, sir!

I'm a fan of both. I think the Asian Assasin body made Betsy the hero/warrior she always wanted to be. Make me think back to Uncanny x-men annual #11. WAY back.[link]
I adore The classy , beautiful, elegant and very proper British Betsy. She might have faded under Emma's (now massive) shadow today.
The Asian version made her a video game commercial success too.

She actuallymade into the 90's series for one episode and she made it Wolverine and the X-Mne for 2 episodes I think. Asian version in both.

i stumbled across this picture about four years ago on Alex' site and fell in love with it along with all your other works on that site and now I finally have the pleasure of complimenting the artist.
Job very well done, this picture is so amazing, it takes my breath away every time I see it.

As much as I like the original, I don't see why they'd be bringing her back. How? what for? She isn't Betsy? She was Kwannon's mind in the British body? The Asian body is totally mind and soul Elisabeth Braddock. I'm afraid of the confusion to come. The drawing I did was a wallpaper for a Psylocke website, I haven't put her up on here. Thanks for the heads up.

I see the similarities, You've been missing out though; Psylocke's been depicted with purple hair and butterflies since the late sevenites. Though she did stop wearing pink in the nineties.
