Ohhhhhkay, here we go, yet another chakra page
This took me a whole day of work D8 SO. MUCH. RED.

Anywho, ご冥福を祈ります, うらしまどの, "gomeifuku wo inorimasu, Urashima-dono"
ご冥福を祈ります, "gomeifuku wo inorimasu", means “We pray for your happiness in the next world", a Japanese way to say "rest in peace"
, while the -dono suffix after Urashima's name is used for old people or knigts.Oh, and about the last two panels. Shiro and Near are putting a tortoise's shell on Urashima's tomb.
This is a reference to Urashima Taro 's legend.

and you have a good point there! You're actually one of very few people who noticed that^^ I made it this way on purpose actually
For his grave I was inspired by "Urashima-tarou", a popular legend in Japan in which an old man rides to the bottom of the ocean on a turtle, to retrieve a coffer that contains eternal youth, and becomes young all over again. I tried to recall these aspects in this wolf's grave, I added a turtle shell on top of it, and placed it in front of the sea, as if the wolf could possibly travel underwater after his death

Yeah, I've lived near the beach my whole life, so I know how much it changes with the weather. On the other hand, I like seeing fiction that draws upon mythology and legends for inspiration. Good stuff.

What can I say... this page is so beautiful. The sunset is gorgeous, it gives everything the perfect golden glow. Especially over the water in panel one. And it really suites the mood.
Aw, poor Led. He really looked up to Urashima. Never mind how poor Shirotora must feel.
