I just finished this one a few days ago. I always wanted to paint a fairly large rose, and this was my attempt at doing so. I hope everyone likes it because I plan on doing several more roses on square canvases!20" X 20" X 1.5"

You should seriously do more! I love the square canvas and the way the rose's folds guide you in. It's so beautiful, your eye for detail is among the best!

I'm definitely going to do more. I would like to finally do a red rose, as I've never done one before - which is kind of odd, considering that's the color most often associate with roses. I'd also like to paint other kinds of flowers on square canvases. So many ideas and subjects.....
