The Heroes of the Bible II: SamsonThis here is, hopefully, #1 in a series of new Heroes of the Bible images. There was a big gap between start and finish with this piece but it wasn't all that hard to do when I actually focused on it.
Gotta love Samson. Such a complete mess start to finish but still God used him. It's a guy like Samson that makes the Bible so believable to me. Except for Christ, every other person in the Bible is so flawed and so human. Their actions and reactions are all too real and don't come off like manmade fictional noble heroes with the happily-ever-after ending...to me at least.
Next in this series will either be the murdering aldulterer (David) or the stutterer with anger issues (Moses)

You know ever since I saw that picture; I am really starting to see Samson as a skinny guy. I mean think about no one knows why he so strong?

Yea, it's just artistic interpretation that Samson is seen as a big muscle bound guy. If I remember correctly, in Jewish folklore, Samson has all these ailments to make his supernatural strength seem even more supernaturalΒ

lol..nothings wrong, I was saying thanks..it's sometimes hard to know what to say after that. Samson gets the mega muscles..others in the series wont quite be so buff.

Of course because Samson was the Real Hercules of the Hebrews. Meaning he actually existed. So he deserves the muscles.
