I am in no way saying 'SMOKE CANNABIS, CANNABIS IS GOOD!' by uploading this. I am saying, it should not be an illegal drug. Why?Because Cannabis is the main drug that is sold on the streets with the violent drug dealers. Police storm into many people's houses and find what? Cannabis plants.
Now what does Cannabis do?
Cannabis does the following:
Relaxes the muscles, eases away muscular pain
Slows the heartbeat very slightly
Helps Anxiety
Causes memory loss
Can in some cases cause paranoia.
It is a fact that no deaths have ever been caused by Cannabis itself.
Now, what does Smoking tobacco do?
Causes Tar build up in the lungs
Creates an Addiction
Causes cancer
Relaxes muscles
Over 10'000 deaths each year in the uk are liked to tobacco smoking.
Most importantly, what would it's legalization do?
Put dealers out of business if it can be bought anywhere, reducing the danger they are to the public.
Now I'm in no way saying it's a good thing to smoke it, but if it was at least make legal, a lot of things would be a lot safer. Put it that way.

That's actually the best idea. Then there's not enough to make one person too much of a danger to them self. It does open up opportunities for jobs producing it, and if it was taxed - Bingo, money for country.

Well, I think a criminal is a criminal; I doubt he will change without jailtime or any other punishment, if he runs out of stuff to sell he'll either:
Start selling another illegal drug
or begin doing other types of crime... like murder, theft, etc.
also, keep in mind Cannabis is adictive, not as adictive at other drugs, but enough to make someone ... lets say... steal if they dont find enough money to buy it, legal or not.

But it'd be the same price as cigarettes if it was legalized, so it'd be cheap enough no one would have to.
There would be problems, I admit, but I don't get why it's legal when it doesn't kill :/

It's not for me but it would be a huge boost to the economy if it was legalized, taxed and regulated like alcohol. I'd vote to legalize it if the option came up.
