SUPER BIG EDIT, TWO YEARS AFTER I MADE THIS STAMP, PLEASE READ! So, yeah, this is a really embarrassing stamp. My opinions have changed a lot and I've got nothing against it anymore. In fact, I think it should be legalized. c: So yeah, have a nice day!EDIT: No, I don't hate weed or the people who smoke it. I'm just tired of people trying to be cool and advertising their smoking. I'm tired of teens being all "BAAWWWW" over the fact that marijuana is illegal. And then arguing and whining like "MARIJUANA IS TTLY SAEF EVERY1 SHULD SMOEK IT" and then bringing up some facts about it. Even though it hasn't directly killed anyone, it can still damage your brain, damage your lungs and cause severe schizophrenia, plus it can lead you to try stronger drugs. Oh, and guess what? The government isn't going to legalize it for you to get high. I support it if it is used to help cancer patients to live through the pain of dying and slow down pain, but for rebel teenagers to get high is just ridiculous. And I just know I'm gonna get some butthurt people crying at me for 'bashing' their precious weed and will probably try to convince me to change my mind through their countless facts

It's legal in colorado, and washington. You'd have to be totally pessimistic to think it's never going to be legal in any other state ever.
And it doesn't damage my brain. It's harsh on the lungs true, but not if you use a vaperizer. And it doens't cause schizophernia, it just makes it worse, but you'd have to already have schizophrenia.

Marijuana does not cause schizophrenia. In fact the information regarding the two isn't even substantial. As well the claim isn't that it causes it. The claim is that it can bring it out in people who already have it. As well it doesn't damage your brain at all. Your brain has receptors in it that only respond to THC which is what causes the high. They have also proven to kill cancer cells when active. It does nothing to your brain like other legal drugs such as cigarettes and alcohol. You are incredibly ignorant on the topic. You should study up.

Also, cannabis doesn't damage your brain or cause schizophrenia(although it can aggravate the symptoms of somebody who already has schizophrenia). It's probably the most harmless drug in the world. And that's including legal drugs such as alcohol, tobacco, and opiates.
But even if it wasn't harmless? Even if it was the most deadly fucking drug in the world, guaranteed to cause instant death to any dumb schmuck who decides to smoke it, what's the big fucking deal? Why can't some people be allowed to make the stupid choice to harm themselves? All it'll do is kill them off quicker and leave the smart people around to laugh at how dumb they are.
I don't care whether it's harmful or not. The government is legislating what we, the individuals, decide to put into our bodies. And that's wrong no matter how you look at it.

Then we get rid of the close-minded monkeys and elect officials that actually represent us rather than themselves. That's the thing most people don't seem to get about the government: It's only in power because we put it there. We can easily take away that power or alter it for our own benefit. The gateway drug theory has been repeatedly debunked. In fact, the only reason why marijuana even seems like a gateway drug is just another product of it being illegal. Drug dealers want to make money, and weed is very cheap and doesn't bring in as much revenue as...say...cocaine. So they draw the kid in with weed, getting them interested in it. Then later on, due to a combination of peer pressure and shrewd marketing("If you like weed, wait till you try this..."), they're able to talk the kid into trying progressively-harder and more addictive drugs. I know this because several of my friends and family are drug dealers.

That's the problem everyone has, unfortunately. They've "learned to deal with it". They don't care that the people they appointed to protect them are abusing their power, because they've become accustomed to the abuse. It's just like a battered housewife. I've already said that I support the right to suicide. Fuck his family and friends, as far as I'm concerned. They aren't him, and they can't tell him what to do with his body if he's an adult. Also, as I have said, the government will legalize it for recreational use if we make them. The government aren't a bunch of kings making the decisions. Americans decide what laws should come about by voting on it and writing petitions. The government doesn't control us, we control them. If people would someday wake up and realize that, the world would be a much better place.
