great colors, patterns, and textures... do you do these in illustrator then alter them in photoshop... i know i've asked you before, but refresh me...

yeah, usually start some things in illustrator, i like importing the vector shapes, you can easily make vector shapes in photoshop too now. i just like having having all those bits and pieces of vectors sitting around. They really don't take up very much space.
