There are so many reasons I love winter, and they're falling from the sky right now in little crystal flakes. The air is crisp, and everything is white. The sun is down, but everywhere there's light.
*big, happy SIIIIIIGH*
So here's a speedpainting I did after frolicking in the twilight snow outside. Words cannot describe how beautiful snow is to me...
...and on that note, I may have just gotten back from seeing Frozen for the sixth time. This time in 3D, which was positively stunning and well worth it.

Awww little Saeron! I love the little halo around him. You have captured that feeling of still silence that is so specific to twilight snowfall....I can almost hear the soft shifting of settling snow when I stare at this, it's absolutely beautiful.

Wow, this is so gorgeous. I know what you mean, winter is my favorite season: I love gray skies and rain and cold weather and snow- we got 6 inches or so of snow about a month ago and I miss it a lot. I want snow again. ;_;
The little lizard is so cute, and I love the light emulating from it. You digitally paint so well ughh.

It really helped to actually see it happening around me. I learned so much about how the light was bouncing up off the snow, then back down off of the clouds and the falling snowflakes, literally filling the air with radiance. It was just magical...*sigh*

I also love the way it's so loose and blocked out, then little Saeron is so beautifully rendered. the halo is a nice detail.

From all the drawing, the small lizard gives a calm and joyful touch specially cause the pose he/she/it has and how is looking to the sky and snow falling.
I wonder how it feels the snow falling in your face. I have never seen snow in real life and I really wonder how it is but with the drawings like this one I can in a way feel how it is. Thank you ^^

It feels like...little cold fluffs falling all over your face. Makes you blink a lot, but it's not as bad as rain. I wish I could just bottle up these moments and share them with everyone. *sigh*

This is an awesome pic, and I can definitely understand the inspiration. It snowed here too...and it's sticky...me and my sis need to get out there a.s.a.p. and get to work. >:3 I've only been able to see Frozen in theaters twice so far, but the second time was in 3D. I adored it still...if one can't tell by my behavior and recent art. XD
