I understand your discomfort with the ', I was looking for some balance with the L because it brings the gravity centre more to the middle. I think it could be better but the client approved it anyway. Thank you for your critique! João

I think if the "s" here indicates possession, meaning something belongs to Leonard, then you probably should consider using a curly apostrophe instead of a typewriter style. And since it is between letter O and S, which are both very curvy, you could do something creative on it. I do like this design however, especially the geometric proportion, very Bauhaus style.

Good point, your critique has its logic. The only thing that made me do it straight and tall was the graphic relations with the "L", its the same height and both are at each end of the logo which in terms of weight makes the logo more balanced. Does this make sense to you?

Yeah you explanation certainly makes sense, actually I noticed that at first glance. But then I read the comment and you said this restaurant is top-notch so I figure the logo deserves to be more classical.
