FrontierJapan is a marketing and trends company based in JapanI was sketching some symbols that remind me the japanese culture and I was trying to fit in the concept of the company. Then I saw an article about Ikebana, a traditional japanese flower arrangement. I didn't know that but Japan is intimatly bonded to flowers. And so this is my brainstorm for the first attempt: flower, seed, culture, expand, open, rise to world. The typography is PLEXES, from Dino Santos, an awesome type designer and I think it combines strength and readability, blending with the symbol's elegancy. Main corporate colors are arterial red and golden. I think this color scheme is great because it looks great, modern and yet classy.

God damn... The thing I love the most in your projects is that before creating you are making research of some... spiritual, cultural symbols and you are attaching them into logo, that's fantastic.

This is what I call a great idea. Coming to the thought of Ikebana, and mixing this with "open" and "rise to the world" I really believe you designed the perfect logo for this company. What I like most about it are the colors here; catchy and matching. Beautiful!

hi, I was just browsing through some logotype ideas over here, and I came across your page.
I'm an information design student, and I got more inspired with your work, because of your approach in creating logotypes - from the research, initial sketch, final render and the rationale behind these.
To a starting graphic designer, I must admit that logos and corporate identities are one of the harder aspects to work on, since we start from relatively ambiguous ideas, yet are expected to deliver symbols that will encompass the client's ideas.
Having said that.. I just wanted to say (again) that I really admire your work! Keep it up!

hello, well actually its my own type, but you can try and search for Conduit ITC, its a very similar typeface and I might add, extremely sexy

however, I think, today, it is not a necessary requirement to refer to local culture when creating design for a company or related. Japan, Chinese and other asian places immediately tempt you to do this but I am sure it should be minimized (outside entities like restraunts, boutiques and etc). Cause today when designers design for American or European corporate needs they dont refer to culture do they?

reallly clean cut and professional. Really could have done with you making this a few months ago when I was doing a similar project, I've used the same colours, but that typeface works so much better than the one i used (DIN)... it's all in my gallery if you fancy a look.

Agora quero uma "live copy" desse cartão para poder mostrar e dizer que tenho um cartão "fixe" de onde quer que ele seja
