Description For my third (and final) submission to the November Gemstone contest being held by Different-Art , I choose to make a doll representing the stone Tigers Eye.  i2.photobucket.com/albums/y8/A… It's always been one of my favorite stones because of it's uniqueness, and the richness of the tones as well as the fact that some pieces almost seem to have pictures in them.  As well as coming in the well-known golden hues, it also naturally occurs in more reddish tones as well as an almost black/grey color. For this doll though, I mostly concentrated on the golden tones with a hint of red.  Any feedback is welcome and appreciated.

This is an astonishing work! I love how you made those stripes, and the typical shiny effect!
The dress really lives up to the gem it's modelled after!

Oh dear, it is so beautiful! And so accurate - it is wonderful work! I especially like the bodice, I even can't figure out how you made it to get that silky effect. But it looks magnificient! Once again, a great work .

Um, I'm trying to remember that myself... *L* I actually made it about a week ago but I'm moving and didn't have internet for a bit. (I was getting worried I might not have a chance to get this one submitted in time.) I do know that I started off with a dark-colored base for the undershirt. And I used those "V"-shaped leaves to make a gradated pattern going up the center and then tilted a bit for the side parts. Then, I thought that was a bit too harsh in color so I think I used some of the smallest of the "mist balls" or whatever you'd call them, on the most translucent setting to blur the pattern a bit.
