Description
A film intro made for my Flash Class.I always loved the novel "Im Westen Nichts Neues" (All Quiet on the Western Front), written after the First World War, by Erich Maria Remarque.
The music is "Gloomy Sunday", sung by Billie Holiday, with various sounds of war in the background. So remember to keep your sound on!
The polaroids were made in PhotoShop, with various old photos. Some of you may recognize the picture of the girl with the balloons, as a stencil that is often shown at footages of the Gaza wall.
I'd also like to thank ~altrikdout for the Splatter brush I borrowed.
Most of the other images shown are from pictures which were clipped, and then traced in Illustrator to avoid pixelation.
And that's about it.

God, that song's beautiful. Got to love Blues. Such a rich, mournful genre.
Love your work on flash. I have to say that I know nothing about it, but I'll comment on what I can. Firstly it was seamless, poignant and the colours blended well. I love that splatter effect, high five to the person you borrowed it off. Aside from these small comments, all I can give you is my love.
