This is my Elite OC, Theia 'Vadam(ee)
Very originally (sorry, I just can't change it, it ruins her personality) Theia is the daughter of the 21st Arbiter, aka, Thel 'Vadam (ee)
Her mother is Zarla 'Vadam

You know what? Her being the Daughter of Thel world out just fine. Swordsman in the Sanghelian can have as many wives or mate with as many females as they want to pass on the swordsman genes.
...I'll just have to edit the crap out of her story...

This armor is all custom, ceremonial armor. She has her combat armor, but this does the same job.
Her eyes are green, and custom her armor is red and violet. Her issued armor is Golden, being a Fleet Master of the "Thunderous Grace"

This looks really swell.
I love the color coordinations. I would suggest to be a little more careful on paper, I see you have some discolored smudges on her skin. I'd love to see more boldness in your art like this.
Maybe a little more pressing down for the colored pencil on the head armor. Very pretty.

I've learned a LOT since I drew this two years ago. Two years ago, things were HORRIBLE. Nothing up here is from more than a year ago. I might have a go at redoing this because her design and rank has changed since I first drew this.
Haha, I'll be attempting with color here soon once I'm more comfortable with my overall drawing skills
You can't tell from the scanner, but the paper was really thin. I would have pressed down harder, but going any harder than this would result in ripping the paper (It happened when I was testing the colors out on another sheet of the same type of paper)

I'd love to see a revisited version of this. :] Yeah I can understand revisions like you're talking about. Like how something doesn't make sense in a story, so you change it so it becomes more realistic. P:

Ohh, I see, have you tried bristol board paper, or other sketchbook paper? It woulld be easier to try out different textures of paper, which you'd get better results.
No problem! I should have asked if you wanted any suggestions/critique first, since I'm nervous when I give anyone critique. I've been yelled at in the past, so I usually ask first, but I didn't think you'd be the type bite at me, and I'm glad you didn't. :,D

Thinking on it, I would love to see myself do it too! I think I'll work on that as soon as I'm off my robotic kick (ever since my Simmons picture, I've been wanting to draw robotic arms and legs and stuff XD)

I really haven't paid attention to the type of paper, but I do have much better quality sketchbooks now that my mom had caught onto my "artistic abilities" as she calls them. Lol. But I have found better results with they different sketchbooks I've used

Yeah elites are pretty well known for their mandibles and long necks. I'm more of a spartan myself, but seeing that elites are two feet taller than spartans in reach is kind of intimidating.

Yeah they are a very honorable and sacred species. Smart, loyal and strong. Have you seen any Halo Legends shorts? They portray elites (and spartans) very nicely.
