The two held each other for a few moments, comfortable in the silence and red light of the room. Theia was in shining, black armor, matching the look and design of John's ODST armor. He was the first to come out of the embrace, holding her her at arm's length, smiling as he looked her over."Stay safe, Barbie. Do anything to stay safe. I want to see you again after today." Theia smiled at John, green eyes sparkling.
"I'm going to miss you, John. Your sense of humor, our competitions...those smiling eyes..." She giggled.
"I'm gonna miss that beautiful face. I would do anything to see you every day." Theia smiled, leaning over slightly to pull a piece of glossy paper from under a nook in her armor. With a smirk, she handed it over to him. He looked at it, and began to smile.
"Here's my picture." She pulled him roughtly into an embrace again, hiding her glistening eyes as her long neck draped over his shoulder.
"Don't forget me..." With a shocked sound, he pulled her away, looking at her sternly.
"I would have my brains blown out in order to forget you." Theia laughed.
"Just make sure that doesn't happen. I don;t want to have to put you back together." He laughed, and placed a kiss on her cheek. In return, she nipped him on his, the closest a Sangheili could get to a kiss with their strange mouths.
"I love you, Barbie."
"I love you, Ken." It was silent for a moment, before they both laughed, reveling in the shared moment of happiness.

This is the full-view, halo-accurate version of Theia 'Vadam, daughter of the 21st Arbiter (Thel 'Vadam) in civilian clothes. I'm really pleased with how the pose come out.

Some people aren't for some reason. I think the should have breasts because well, they are fun to draw and they completely give off the feminine feel, especially to their clothing.

Well, everyone has their own opinion and I can respect that completely.
Very true. That does make a lot of sense. (but if I DIDN'T give her any...well....she might end up looking like a cross-dressing elite. Boobs are the only real way I find it easy to convey being a female. Even though they took forever to get just right, I personally think they're worth it.)

I think this whole idea of what females look like is the main reason why Bungie left them out for so long. And when they finally did show a female, nobody felt she was 'right' .. myself included. I'm experimenting with this myself, I have a few ideas on what to do but have little confidence they'll actually work. We'll see.
At least you didn't give her enormous boobs like many artists seem to give their characters.

I think they could have afforded to have had a story about a female or several, there was one said to be a skilled engineer who managed to convert some kind of weapon for Banshees I believe. I guess she was a little bit like the Sangheili equivalent of Dr.Halsey. If it'd been in text format only, it wouldn't have been such a huge problem as we could only have seen her with our inner mind's eye so to speak.

Lol, I know. I just can;t stand giving up drawing the one thing that I cam make a female look like a female unless they come out with a complete handbook on the covenant species and it says in bold letters "SANGHEILI FEMALES DO NOT HAVE BREASTS" then I'm still drawing that way. XD

I liked the idea. I really couldn't come up with a good idea for another male elite. It just didn't seem right. I would have to continue on with the formal speech, and there wouldn't be the little nicknames that they have with each other. Thinking about it made me smile, writing about it was a joy and soon to be drawing it will be a blast. I just can't see it any other way.

and I can relate about having characters turn themselves out.
Unfortunately, in one of my stories, nearly all the lead characters have a few major aspects of myself. it's kinda creepy how that happened, but no matter what I try, they only work as shadows of my personality.

So there's a debate on whether or not the Elite race (Don't feel like spelling it, but it's taking longer to explain than to look up the actual spelling) have boobs? I guess I'd say they do because of the food nipple... Don't ask why, I'm just not my self right now.

Yeah. I have seen a ton of people who drew female Sangheili and they don't have breasts. IT MAKES ME SO MAD. RRRR. lol, but their art is better than mine, so, I don't have any say. lol
The food nipples are for the grunts, and only the grunts I think. The Sangheili were the highest in the social ladder of the Covenant, so it only made sense that they had better quarters, equipment and food. (well, until the civil war lol)
And meh, it's okay. I understand ^^

And then I suck at ODST Armor...I really want to draw him in ODST armor and his helmet at his feet...and I suck at drawing guns, and I want him to have his shotgun or SMG in his hand...GRRR, why do I have to suck at objects?! lol

I would always assume that elites would have breasts, only cause they seem so human. I always thought, jokingly of course, that female elites would breast feed the grunts. That's just my sick imagination though.
Well, one thing I notice about UNSC equipment is that it is usually made up of blocks and cylinders. Simple shapes, then again everything is.

Yeah, It's some messed up theory I made when Halo 1 came out. It just made the Elites and Grunts have a close bond which is why they followed the command of the elites so closely.
