I absolutely adore this shot. The contrast of the grains in the wood is beautiful. Also, the contrast between the top and bottom of the photo is lovely.
I love the way the wood almost looks entirely desaturated, but you can just barely see the hints of almost blues, and some browns in it. Really beautiful use of depth. Great shot. ^^
