Description
                                 For a time I couldn’t move....

I just stared at it, amazed and horrified.

   I could feel the pit of my stomach dance up into my throat. I let everything out, shaking as I fell to my knees.

        Nothing was left, except for that emptiness in my chest, but soon it became a squeezing sensation, slowly choking my lungs.

              There was a pin tickling feeling around my eyes that spread into my skin and to my feet.

                Black splotches fogged my vision as I weakly reached out for the hand. I needed to feel it once more, the way it fit perfectly in mine. The way the warmth spread from the palm to my own, I needed to feel complete once more before it was violently ripped from me. Before everything ripped out from me, from under my feet so that I would fall and come crashing down, once more.

                           I softly intertwined my fingers with its own; a serene calmness filled me, knowing this was it.

                                  The numbness took over and so my consciousness tucked itself away and let sleep possess me....
