Spyro the purple dragon.This is jst a clearear pic of my old project spyro the dragon.
He stood 4 foot tall and 5 foot in length.
he was a heavy buger and practicly impossible to get out the door...i miss him though.
about a year ago i had to distroy him as extreme weather had damaged him behound repair.
I injoyed this project and got sucked into the world of spyro the dragon.I still have 4 books on his constrution and design,it is fun looking back.

it took so long and i drove my girlfriend at the time mad lol
not many people fav it or comment on it....i no its spyro (which dont ask me why i decided to pick him)
but he was half the size of me and 5 feet long,very big for a project yet not many people agknollege that.

he was fat in the game well...kinda so i tried to keep to that.

well it had a wooden frame with coke bottles and card board ducked taped to it then coverd with pva glue on news paper to make it rock hard and then with a clay coz daz clay,its an air drying clay and once that was done i just had to paint it.
it was a fun project to do but it took ssssooo long to complete and i was hoping it would last alot longer.

i know wut you mean, i made lots of little thing s in ceramics class, most of the broken, I atleast too snap shots of some of them...b4 my neices and nephews decied to play with them.

ya i know i wanted him to have the big body because he is a mixture of the old spyro and the grown up spyro exept with out the big wings.
another reason is that i had to make sure he wouldent fall over during the winter with an oversized head plus i was never thought how to do any of this stuff so had to figure it all out by myself,all in all i dont think it came out half bad,at least alot better them some ive seen.

im really glad you like it.
it took me over 8 months to fully complete.
i had to documment the intire process aswell and refine the character design but it was really fun to do.
thanks it was a sad day when i had to distroy it but the damage was so bad their was no other choice.
