Well this is a very late entry, for anyone who still remembers my naming convention it goes (month) - (day started)(year). So it was made on the 9th month on the 23rd of the year twenty thirteen. I've made several attempts on getting back to being creative, previous attempts before this ended up in horrible failure. It seems that I my mourning or rather this part of my mourning for my friend has come to a end, and I'm quiet looking forward to being able to share things again.

Though I haven’t the premium membership for a critique I enjoy the fact that you don’t think its good enough. I will take your suggestion and praise the work a bit while giving advice as I feel the peace is excellent in its composure while not in need of many critiques the knowledge of the piece is yours so I’ll take a stab at it.
The light source is an original concept and your signature for the work so that is good to be admired where the source is unclear whether it be heavenly or a part in the clouds that are present thankfully, maybe in such a bright landscape there would be a flair or halo at the source giving it more realism for if you take a pic like that there would be one. The transition between rock and field at the mid left seems a little cut in where the mid right looks natural possibly because of the difference in lighting caused by your beam of light it just looks blended better on the right. I like that you have detail in the foreground with the up close grasses you may consider putting another element of interest in the composition where mystery may make it a bit more interesting in the future like you did in the previous composition with the sail ship maybe an animal that blends nicely with the undergrowth only to be noticed by those truly interested in your work. Create faces that look present naturally in the rocks or cloud something to draw more interest to those who may only see sky, rock, and brush haven’t used their inner eye yet and want to explore what may be there but are unsure.
Nice work and I hope I’ve helped a bit otherwise it is your creation and it is always up to you to do as you may with or without change it is still an impressive piece.

thank you, I've copied your thoughts to a text document that I keep handy for later reference when I revisit this one. I am pleased enough with this IP to go back and attempt to improve upon it. The light was meant to be more of the angelic kind and not from any particular light source. And am not sure if I could edit the perspective of the light to make it look like its traveling to her from further back in the image. But I have recently learned a fair better, though be it trickier way of making 'god rays' that doesn't require the use of painting in hues of white and yellow. Melding all the landscape better might prove tricky I cant recall exactly how it's assembled. and I will see how well I can blend in horses or deer, would prefer deer or something else within that family tree but that is heavily dependent on the stock resources I can find. And as always thank you for such a thoughtful insight on my work it's something I value quiet highly.

I keep a copy of my text for when I’m down I impress myself with all the complements I write and make myself feel better while I wonder how I could have composed so much by translating thought into words. Your responses are quite good too, the most I've ever gotten from a single person. Most just say thanks or nothing but for those who put such effort into their work then responses I feel like I have to catch up and concentrate on responses instead of their work. Either way is good for me I still get to write.

Is there any work you want me to look at or should I just explore your page again or many times to find the ones you’re talking about in the future.

Of course i could watch but that's something i don't do much since i like to explore new from other peoples works whenever i'm in chat that's why i seem so silent when i'm in there
