You have been become my works greatest ally in a short period of time. Putting such effort into reviewing each piece and then writing your thoughts down. I do agree there a serious lack of shadows here. Looking at the piece I am still not quiet sure on where to place them but will give it some thought once I revisit the piece.

I have been gifted enough to have found an intelligent composer of fine works, and have the privilege to be able to speak my mind and express my feelings for your efforts in order to guide you. While being an outlet to be expressive when I feel better doing so, and freely appreciate your appreciation for my efforts as well.Β

I think anyone who wants to improve their given craft should take in any productive criticism they receive. I generally have tended not to go back and revisit prior works, the reason being I generally keep everything visible in my gallery and its more shows the path I am traveling as an artist. It might not be a glamorous path but it was my path none the less.
So many years have passed now that I don't feel as obligated to leave things be, and have put a few extra awful pieces into storage, and actually have one that I've worked on a bit but haven't decided if its enough of a improvement over the original.

Ahh, a weapon of choice, non lethal in nature but wielded by a skilled opponent may be just a deterrent to those wishing to disturb the serenity nature has provided.
Β
Our natural world has its own defenses in place where there was serenity and peace our impact on nature does not come without a price. The changing of the climate is no small matter but a warning to those willing to change their views about such things as simple as knowing what to do when the strong survive and the others disappear into the wilderness that was present until we killed it all for paper to write on.
Β
The few remaining glimpses of wilderness may someday be captured on film to remember how things were once upon a time.Β
Β
For the population has taken all remaining space for agriculture and dwelling spaces leaving roads and parking lots where there was a thriving community of trees to begin with, then farmland then a barren lot to be built since there wasn't anything left to do with the land and no one had the spirit to restore what once was a wilderness of natural beauty that existed for millennia without our help to create a sanctuary for those natural elements that are corporeal and convincingly better off without us.
Β
Yes I get a bit carried away sometimes, but I only try to convey the need for change prior to my regrettable demise, though I may only have forty years left in this shell of existence I like to crack open the egg once in a while and celebrate the day we have more than we ever deserved.
Β
Mother nature is young and will be so until we provide enough air for her to breath while choking her with smog long enough to filter the bad elements and transform them to soil to be recycled to another layer of rock. A natural cycle that takes place without our involvement that may be lost with every forest we cut down and leave baron for the natural world has seasons to be adapted until we find another need for the land we should keep as is instead of attempting to recreate it for our own selfish reasons.Β
Β
Thinking that it's only progress for the sake of fair gain while losing everything we sought out to gain by limiting our own exploration into the realm of blind site and an unwillingness to consider the possibilities that may result in our own demise sooner than we thought.

I think I my work might have a woken the poet in you. I do agree, we sprawl just for the sake of it. We have the technology to comfortably live under the ground and simulate the natural day cycle and leave the top alone, and leave the natural world to its business. I grew up in the country and I could imagine taking a lift up to the surface to hunt for my own food, and to be honest I would find a life like that to be exhilarating! granted such a under ground society would undoubtedly have hydroponic farms and would be able to raise smaller meat resources like chickens and sow, possibly even cattle although I don't know if I would favor trying to rear such a large animal because it would most likely have to live a very confined life for a grazer. And there would be another advantage to this, you could capture all the methane that their waste produces and use it as a secondary fuel source.
The thought of having our massive communities underground is really appealing to me. I would love to see the natural world take over the surface and keep the world in balance, and just go to the surface for a hunt or scientific reasons. If a society truly dedicated it's self to living underneath the surface we could enjoy all the basic luxuries we do today with possibly the exception of driving. As much as I love to drive, it's not a great solution to transportation. Trams would be a much better way from getting from one part of a settlement to another, and walking the rest of the way to your destination. Seeing there would be no adverse weather to speak of there would be no reason not to walk.

I have designs describing the life underground when the ozone layer has depleted to the point of survival underground is the only viable option. In a closed community everything is recycled, reused or renewed, everything with potential energy is utilized for power, while the demand for power is diminished to a suitable standard of living not using heaters or air conditioners but manipulation air flow to suit the needs of the community where the radiant heat from the surface is transferred utilizing air foil techniques.
Since the consent temperature is moderate and we will have to adapt to it to survive. The humans will provide plenty of methane from our own waste. Every waist-full luxury will be disposed of cows eat too much for their own good, opting for sheep or goats for waste converters since they eat just about anything while sheep give wool for clothing to replace cotton that is a demanding crop like corn. goats provide milk that is richer in fat that will be needed to compensate for many foods we give up. Soybeans can be converted into many products; everyone will have their own garden for food and air so they can choose what they want on the menu.Β
Regulating the airflow to give simulated wind to the structure while seemingly outdoors providing strength to trees since they wonβt grow well without movement while providing much needed oxygen and shade to the environment in many instances you couldn't go outside for prolonged periods but the air should be fine and good enough to filter downward with large air scoops at the surface. The natural air flow should be sufficient to exchange the air for a while.Β
You have many good ideas Iβm glad I have someone to talk to about this kind of thing, since others have the resources to explore such advances in technology where technology is the blame, but at this time and age people seem to be happy with the possible demise of us all. Since the real problem is population and that itself canβt be solved easily without un-comprehensible consequences or the others suffering unprotected exposure to the sun while keeping "sanctuary" a secret when the time comes.Β
Money would be abolished in such a case, since it would take too much to even think about the bill, where survival is involved I'm sure the politicians would mess that up like they do everything else. Of course politicians would be abolished, as well as lawyers, people would be treated fair for a change and those who don't like it can get a tan outside.

I had never thought of air foil heat exchanges, seeing if you had a decent population one's problem would be cooling and not heating. Just the humans alone, we generate so much heat and put that in a confined space with a constant 55F and cooling becomes a much bigger issue. But we're both talking about incredibly vast underground civilizations which lends its self well to moving air from lower or unused tiers to the ceiling and making natural convection currents. I wouldn't like to get rid of industry but rather develop the mentality that you take what you need but in the least harmful way possible. because beside for personal recreation we would need machines and and technology to maintain such a beautiful under-world.
Everything currently is done, with maximizing profits and ignoring the ecological ramifications, which personally is backwards as hell seeing the earth is a limited resource. Sure gathering resources in a caring way may take longer and consume more man hours but the rewards out strip the rush job. Mining I think is the most problematic of them all, even if we could do it all by machines the problems remain of how you deal with the waste and how not to injure any water tables and leave that greater area in tact. I believe we would most likely still need to mine for resources even if we recycled every bit of electronical scrap and every piece of no longer useful steel. Although admittedly the demand for new resources would be greatly reduced.

the amount of resources currently consumed may be enough for the meantime but in the long run there would be accessible to further mining responsibilities translated into the mining machine itself to consume the material as it goes along creating the infrastructure as it moves and mining for oar at the same time while processing the material into concrete, and metal, while separating other elements needed. Structured in an oval grid type conformity.
Wow thatβs a big machine i need to develop. They already have scanners for material property and minerals. The current diggers or worms as they call them follow a precise path with laser accuracy and provide support for the walls as it goes along but the mass of material could be sectioned with air blasts and conveyor systems. The speed of the current diggers would allow such a separation to take place since they don't move very fast.
The airfoil with elastic properties acts like a lung the air above heats up pushing out the lower section since hot air expands the bladder during the day and when it cools at night it releases the tension creating an air flow like breathing real slowly. the atmosphere or pressure beyond the bladder would increase and decrease at night causing a barometric pressure indoors.Β

Thanks i just thought of it as i wrote. i thought i could use the existing worms only three of them at the same time hydraulically joined for maneuverability and since the rock is composed of different layers jumbled up at the same time the cutting ability would be able to move at their own pace and remove excess around the gaps with other means of chopping action since it would be just a sliver to remove between the units. okay I do think we really should exchange skype info, and make our own little think tank of sorts. we come up with so many cool and horrifically complicated concepts. And we both desire to think them threw down to seemingly small details. and we could keep our projects separated in different Google docs which would really make life much more simpler.
