Description I was sitting on my roof terrace for a bit earlier today when I suddenly noticed a dragonfly that's been hanging around my plants more often. I got closer and it didn't move at all, so I ran inside and grabbed my camera, hoping it would still be there when I got back. And it was! It was actually posing for me, since I got quite a few good shots from several angles. I think I liked this best (for now at least!)

this is definately a  perfect shot,

i love how the angle makes the body lines look very solid, but the rest of the body look almost transparent

Ours are always in action. Years ago i was able to catch them more often and had them sitting on my hand and such

I'd think it would be more of a reflection, but I've been staring at it for a while now and it looks like there are some 'veins', so.. I'm not sure!
