Guess Shiver and Frye had a ghost of a chance to win this battle.

The Halloween Splatfest has concluded, and in a moment that will likely be remembered by many, Big Man has won. This month's Splatfest asks the question: "Who would make the best friend?" and our choices were Zombie, Skeleton, or Ghost. I went with Team Ghost because of the three options, I personally find ghosts to be the most interesting of them all, mainly because of how they can come in all shapes and sizes, and that I'm familiar with a lot of characters who happen to be ghosts, like Hi-Five Ghost from Regular Show, Danny Fenton from Danny Phantom, Scratch from The Ghost and Molly McGee, the Boos from Super Mario, Blinky, Pinky, Inky and Clyde from Pac-Man, among others.

I only played about 10 matches, because I was either busy or just being too tired to play. In fact, last Friday, the first day of the Splatfest, I watched the Five Nights at Freddy's movie with my friend, and I thought it was one of the most enjoyably bad movies I've seen in a while. The story has a myriad of questionable narrative choices, and felt like it relied a lot on references longtime fans would notice, but the dumbness of it all did make it fun to watch at least. I'd give it like a 7/10. Anyways, back onto the Splatfest, of those 10 matches, I'd say I had an even split of wins and losses; most of the battles I was in were against Team Skeleton, while I only battled against Team Zombie maybe once or twice.

In the end, Team Ghost won with 33 points, Team Skeleton got 24 points, while Team Zombie got nothing. That's right. folks. Shiver's team walked away with NOTHING! I mentioned in the first paragraph that the reason why Big Man's victory in this Splatfest will be remembered is because this is the first time Shiver lost a Splatfest since the Dark Chocolate vs. Milk Chocolate vs. White Chocolate Splatfest in February, in which Big Man was also the winner. During the five Splatfests that occurred between that one and this one, Shiver's team would always take the victory. After winning five times in a row, it seemed like people were finally getting fed up with her winning every time (mainly because she either keeps getting the best options or people just really simp for her), and decided that this would be the Splatfest to end her streak. While some may be disappointed that it wasn't Frye who won, they are at least happy that it wasn't Shiver who won again. I decided to incorporate Shiver into this artwork not only because I want to give my personal representation of her losing after 5 wins in a row, but also because I thought it would make the artwork more interesting. Also, yes, I did in fact draw her in the iconic "Family Guy death pose" because it's funny.

As for anything else I want to bring up, you might have noticed that I drew in Blinky, Pinky, Inky and Clyde from Pac-Man here. My initial plan was that I was going to draw in some of the aforementioned ghosts in the first paragraph, but I decided to stick with the Pac-Man ghosts because I thought their various colors would make the artwork more colorful, and I decided for consistency's sake that the ghosts would be from a video game. I was planning on adding in some Boos as well, but I felt that the four ghosts you see were enough. Lastly, there's the text on the bottom right corner, and the ghost pattern in the background. Both of those images were imported from the internet (with a little modification).
