Hmm.Β Maybe a little Buscema influence, here?Β Not in the technique, but in the conception?

Buscema's main influence was Michelangelo.

Yes.Β People balk when I identify Renaissance Masters in my line-up of favorite cartoonists.Β Then I ask, "where do you thing the term cartoonist comes from?Β What do you think a cartoon is?"
I have some good books on Renaissance drawing in my scribd.com collection, which is linked on my profile page.Β

Well, I tend to look at it this way; art started looking real heavenly comeΒ Renaissance...I think the influence never really waned; it just has it's periods of cooldown once a while...

Wow and you use pens!I thought your stuff was all brush! My good man, you've got some serious skills!
And nah the rifle ain't small. It looks more like a sawed off shot gun with an aiming device.Which by the way, awesome!

Thanks! I don't mind using brush actually..but it's so much faster to just grab a pen and start doodling..hehe

I know the feeling.I do the same, but I mix the two.The only reason though is that there are no good brushes here where I live to buy, so either I import them or I use the pens hehe

Same here in Malaysia; it's hard enough to get those Sharpie markers everyone on deviantart seems to be using...what IS readily available are those Artline and Pentel Drawing Pens, so I grab a bunch of those and see what I can come up with.

I'm not doing it everyday either...most likely because I create many lines per art that my pens finished earlier..

Naah, it isn't too small to bug. But I do think a bigger one would just add to the overall impact of the character's power.
