Here's a recent drawing DC commissioned me to do for a stock cover art image. It's a team of villains, I believe, led by Deathstroke. The guy in the middle/right side has tattoos that come to life.
I didn't use any photo refs on this drawing, though the female character is modeled after my fiancee, Tamara
Note to art collectors, the original art will be going up for sale.

I love the texture on the dragon's back, and based on your female character, get her married up quick! Mine's next summer and I wish I could draw 'our lass' that well! Epic work as usual.

Absolutely amazing work. The amount of detail is very impressive, and I love the way you use lines to create different tones. The red is also a nice addition.

one question, do you lightly draw out everything before adding all of that detail or do you just draw it out as you go along? ... like lightly draw and map everything out, then detail the immortal awesomeness out of it?
they should let you do the artwork for money lol

I have one question though...Isn't Deathstroke blind in his right eye? He has a blank mask on that side doesn't he? Or have they changed him?

yeah, you are right. I just made the mask very skin tight, as I had seen it like that in a couple pics. The mask is just very form fitting in this drawing. thanx

As always, I'm impressed with your attention to detail and rendering. Man, I love your composition and your use of dramatic lighting. The design for the dragon is so wicked! And the skulls with wings, wow, that's something that I have never seen before! Genius! I am not familiar with the characters here, except for Deathstroke, since I have never read any of the Titans or Teen Titans comic book, (except for the Kid Titans comic which I got for free at last years Long Beach Comic con lol) but if DC will publish this as cover art for the comic, I'll definitely going to buy it!
