I wanted to do a very spooky Fantastic Four cover with this one & focus more on the villains than the heroes.
They were some lesser known villains, called the Salem 7.

And I just noticed something else: the cave background on the top of the drawing is a lot like a skull. Was that intentional?

You know, some of your stuff sometimes reminds me of Alien. Mostly details, like the spines and textures on the snakes. The snake altar had a lot of Alien-like textures, I think.

I hadn't heard of these villains until I did this cover... I loved the reptilian woman with snake arms and really wanted to put her in the spotlight!
Yeah, originals almost always look better than scans on the computer
