Thank you so much
This map is part of our LARP (Live Action RolePlay) World. I have bigger ones for my Fantasy RPG World Astara ^^. There is much to tell about Astara. The World is nearly finished in my head, but to write all down is kind of difficult ^^
It's a usual fantasy world. On a planet, although the most people don't know that it is round. There are many gods, wich have a great influence on the daily live of the mortals. There are more than 100 cultures, because it is a big world, bigger than the earth. You can play 8 different species: Elbian (once were Halfelves, but now they are something own) Elves, Gnomes, Human, Minotaurs, Orcs, Trolls and Dwarves. They are all splitted in 2 or 3 races with 6 or 7 folk each.
I try to do a homepage in english, but the translations are terrible I think ^^ If you want to, you can have a look there: [link]
Our Group here on DA is
I would be glad to answer you questions about my world

sounds really cool, is there a central story with history, or is it just an idea of a world and the inhabitants.

The world has a history, from the beginning until now. There were 3 ages yet, the play is set in the fourth age.
1st age: As Neleleth (the godess of desteny) and the nameless godess of time called ubiquity created the world.
2nd age: As Neleleth created the griffins, wich create life even today. And she created the souls. She chooses 35 to be special, the gods. The griffins created the 7 species (because the elbian has developed themselves)
3rd age: The great war of the gods. Because the gods made children, and they wanted to be gods, too they fought their parents. Only 2 gods and Neleleth survived, and many of the god-children, the new gods. ubiquity was forgotten and hides away weak.

I place the Rivers by feeling. I dont have really thoughts about it. It's just luck. I'm glad you like it. I could do your map in this style if you want and if you have the time to wait.

Cool, yeah I was just looking at a map of Europe and noticed most of the rivers flow from the Alps. I think I'll make them flow from my Elysian Plateau.
You don't have to do a map for me. I still gotta finish your rule book cover first.
