bald eagle we found, sick and unmoving on a fallen branchshe watched us, but only watched
if she survived the trip there, she'll be treated at an animal hospital and hopefully released back into the wild upon recovery
i will put out word in a journal when i hear back from those who came to save her
she's about five years old, and instantly became very dear to my heart

Damn, I love this picture. She looks so solemn and accepting, perhaps pondering what brought her to the circumstances, or maybe she's just waiting for what may happen. In any case, this picture is very powerful to me. Absolutely amazing.
