Also, do you have a general collage of the slow progression of your make up, hair styles, etc.? Because I sure would like to see it. Why? Because every time I come onto your profile, you have a different gorgeous DVR ID that just disappears and gets replaced by the next. I don't know what other people comprehend how beautiful these selfies of you are. Now, you look like a Gothic blue haired (short hair, which is freaking amazing, and I love the FAMALLESS that I can pull off the short hair) gothic Angsty teenager taking college classes amd writing JOURNALISM ARTICLES?!!! journalism was one of my interest. But I don't have a strong the writing background is here. How did you first get started? I'd like to know, in case I'd like to really start pursuing the journalism track. If I start liking it, I'll pursue it more. Hearing something from someone who's been through it might really help. I

In my small hometown in Florida, they say that the journalism field is dying, But I don't think that's true at all. Places like California, Los Angeles, Boston, bigger cities, especially Washington DC,… Their fuel for knowing what's going on are journalist! I understand the digital media is a great way for people to know what's going on as well, but someone out there still needs to be a "journalist" to share the news. That's why fake news and authenticity is so important right now, to make sure that those who are the median between us and the truth or truth or themselves! And as authentic as possible. I think it's a great feeling!

Ironically, I have about A year left of my master strategic communications program, which usually connect to the filmography and journalism career track… but many of these master students, I feel, have very ignorant opinions of mass media and the news. Teacher needs of the argument. Not just let people complain and complain that indefinitely, people are trying to swindle them. There are many great benefits to social media and everything. They concentrate a lot on the negatives in my classroom, and even some of the teachers adopt a very negative and bias opinion of the world, not even necessarily a media base. Sometimes about sciences, the arts, etc. A lot of what they make quick judgments on in the middle of discussions, I tried to tell them that I've been a part of that world, and what they're saying isn't true in most politest way, but then other people will say but it is true, but not give any facts back for it. It frustrates me a lot?!!

And When that is more important than ever in this day and age, people may pitying sounds and said that journalism is dead, or I have to be careful of being in a field where there is so many lies and people purposely trying to scare the public. And I tell them to not let bad journalism speak for good journalism, just like they probably don't want their family members representing them all the time, or whatever political party in their family or their spouse having to speak for them. The world works better when people work as a team, and when you always assume that people are trying to lie to you, you don't notice when people are truly trying to help you. You start creating a picture of a cynical world isn't there, or isn't as bad as you think. And even if it is there, you start giving up. Versus those who do their best, despite their backgrounds. I feel that is true good journalism, to ask people for their opinions despite their backgrounds, and create a good story. And if you choose to manipulate, with the power of journalism, you do it knowing full well the ramifications and what you were doing.

This is random, but I went to a UPS store to drop off some packages, and the blonde boy employee was cute, so I PULL UP MY CHARISMA, but it does NOT work on him. Like, usually, they talk back, but this guy has that confused look like "I am new. I am new to everything. I read off of a script in my head, and I smile, and I'm professional, and this is not a part of the script." and it's a shame, because when I am interested in someone, they end up either being some serial killer, psychopath, or they're this guy where you can't even tell if they have a personality at all (there's there's a chance he's just asking his sociopathy). Anyways, I walk out of there embarrassed because I was too charismatic. But whatever, man. WHATEVER.

How has school been? I know you're technically a "new" college student!

I just finished with my three Masters classes for the summer, and the fall semester is about to start soon!

I just finished binge writing a whole bunch of my summer essays because there's no official deadline for them for the summer semester for the persuasion class I was taking. As a result, I pressed crastinated hardcore, and I finished the essays literally ours before grades were due, lol. Grades due officially for the university, HAHHANFEIHFKEKDKDNDNSSKJDJD NO I'M NOT A MODEL STUDENT. DO NOT ASK

Okay, let me rant to you about my life, because this just happened. I was asked to speak for a large technology summit in my hometown about marketing, since I'm a marketing specialist and graphic designer at the College of Business at my University. I host a lot of graphic design workshops and speak for a lot of Center for entrepreneurship events and do a lot of their competitions too.

The technology summit Workshop did pretty well, and we had a full house, and my university's for cybersecurity had their director and news press representative in the crowd that watched my workshop, and they emailed me saying " Would you be interested in a marketing / graphic design assistantship or internship with the Center for Cybersecurity? We would like to identify a talented student to help us with marketing and graphic design and you seem to be passionate about what you do. If you may be interested, I suggest we find a time to discuss. You can learn more about the Center on our web site." Which I was excited about! in the meeting, they said that they definitely needed a graphic designer and someone who knew marketing, and they were excited looking at the portfolio I sent,because they were short-staffed with how much they're trying to achieve in the university, and although I felt some contradictions coming out of the directors mouth, I was still excited.

I sent a follow up email recently asking to meet again a little bit before the next semester starts so we can talk about ways we can improve the center for cyber security marketing structure, and I got a reply back saying "we are still exploring options to support the Center's needs and can't confirm a position with the Center at this time. Tom is out of town this week. We will touch base after Thanksgiving and reach out to you if we would like to meet."

....WHAT?

"We will touch base and reach out to you if we would like to meet?" If we would like to meet? Right after the first meeting, they said they want to meet again. That came from the directors mouth. Things were set in stone. They even talked about getting a computer for me so I can graphic design for them, and they already showed me projects but they wanted me to look at.

What do you mean, "we don't know if that position we'll work yet. We'll discuss it and tell you if we want to meet." Like, what the heck?!

During the meeting, after the director left for a very quick chat with someone else, I was asking questions from the Center for cybersecurity PR person about what it's like to work there, and he just sighed and said that that director loves to micromanage, and that was sort of a red flag to me. however, I believe in whatever program or company that I'm with, but I'm able to provide my services offer my services to improve what they have. So after the explained that they were serious about me coming onto the team, I was serious about coming over!

But this director literally sent me an email offering me a position for next semester, and when that semester is getting closer, says she cannot yet ensure that such a position could exist, and they'll decide later if they want to meet me? What the freaking heck?

Anyways, my rant is entirely because it is perfectly fine to not have a certain position, but it is not fine for people to bring someone's hopes up, or blatantly explain that there is something coming, and when the person expresses the same atmosphere that you have presented, you cannot be like "what? We cannot insure that we can offer this to you. Why are you being proactive in something we haven't given you?." What type of broken misleading communication are they working on?

The good thing is that I have over packed myself with many different types of opportunities for the next semester, so I did not have to depend on this one, so I wasn't entirely freaked out when I saw their response, but what if I wasn't that student who had the backup plans?

They would be essentially screwing a student over. a student who has to pay the bills and tuition!

During the interview, the director kept talking about how important the center for cyber security was, how much they do for the University, how they have such a national presence. All I could think while she was talking was "no one's ever heard of you, I just finished telling you that no one could find your website because your websites key words aren't search engine optimized, you keep talking about how important this center is but you haven't marketed or shown it before. He will have a marketing specialist right in front of you. Is this type of blind egotism something you want me to market? Is this something to hide, or something to boast?"

I have also put into account: what if they just have a personal vendetta against me, and that's why this is so out of the blue? Well, they would still be at fault, because at this point, If you have an issue with an employee, you should explain it to them. If you have an issue with someone that you're offering a position to, you should explain it to them. That's what communication is. Things work better when you communicate. You don't tug a rug under someone's foot because you want them to leave the house, because you're not courageous enough to tell them how they could stop being a bad housemate. It's pure cowardice, if it's just because they decided I would not fit with the Center for cyber security. That would just say something about them if they would rather go the impolite roundabout way, if that was the case. Everything from point B to point C and D are done wrong here.

Anyways, there's my rant. Something freaking annoying that just happened, and I felt like you should know about it, LOL. OR I JUST FELT LIKE FREAKING RENTING TO SOMEONE WHO KNOWS ANY FORM OF LOGIC ABOUT PROFESSIONALISM AND POSITIONS IN FRIGGIN GENERAL
