I have a question for you...seeing as your are the best cosplayer of lightning i have seen XD and you did not use a wig, well i am going to be lightning for Halloween as well as for the anime north convention in may and i am not using a wig i was wondering how you got your hair to look just like hers, i am having a lot of difficulty with making it wavy but not to curly and i was wondering if you could tell me what you did????????

I honestly LOVE the person who inventer hair straightener, it's the best tool ever. I am not using anything else to style my hair just this.
There is a nice tutorial now on you tube, there is one thing I could add to it. Lightning has kinda boyish hair style on the top so a lot of hair has to be taken from the back of your head to the front. Look at all your male friends, their hair usually grows from back to front. With girls it's a bit different cause we wear ponytails a lot and brush our hair from front to the back. So you need to brush your hair from back to the front, make the spikes, use some hair spray to make it hold.
The longest hair you just put on one side (you can use some bobby pins to keep it in place) and use the hair straightener to make the curls (check you tube). Do not curl all the hair, leave out some straight hair.
Maybe I will finally find some time in the future to make a tutorial.

i have to say though that my hair didn't look half as good as yours but hey practices makes perfect..or well better lol...i will be cosplaying Lightning for the Anime North Convention this may in Toronto.

You have a beautifull face there too and wonderfull eyes and I am sure your Lightning will be amazing - I think what counts the most is how much you want something and if you're fulfilling your dreams! If you do that you will surely be very happy with your cosplay and having a lot of fun.

If you are not good with props I'd advise you to start with eBay
I am awaiting delivery of my own custom made gunblade, this will allow me to cosplay and in the mean time I will be able create my own gunblade ^^

This is not the first time I hear someone plays the game and then compares my pics with the character - It feels kinda strange/freaky to hear something like that 
I never thought it would turn out so good when I decided to cosplay Light.
I'll keep my fingers crossed for your Oreba Yun Fang cosplay - it's a great character and her outfit is stunning. I believe that with the right attitude you can achieve whatever you dream about ^^

Hi Kiyoko,
I'm trying to reply ASAP but it's not always possible so I apologize for the delay in responding.
Lightning is my first and only cosplay as for now. I am considering cosplaying Stella however this is just because my friend is cosplaying Noctis and he'd like to have Stella for photoshoot. Well not that I got face for Stella but at the photos you'd probably not see it at all. Anyway Lightning is my only cosplay and I still have plans/goals which I need to achieve.
Tifa is a great char to cosplay and I can totally understand why you like to cosplay FF chars.
In regards to having a photoshoot together... Never say never. You're from Austria? I wouldn't mind to go there for a weekend sometime
