So yes, this is me and my guitar. I took the picture on a very small cellphone and the lighting sucked. I was actually ATTEMPTING to do a picture of my heel (ironically the one that's not at all in the picture), but I had only one picture left so it didnt work out. Needless to say I threw in some imagination and non-existent light, put on a crappy background, ironically concentrated nothing on the shoe......and came out with this.But don't get me wrong, I actually like the style I did this in quite a bit, and the parts I took time on I do like.

Lovely pose! Especially like the arm and face, somehow it really works that you can't see the eyes. The guitar seems a little flat though.

this is highly impressive (especially since it's mouse done). I love the perspective and attention to detail in the arms and coloring. And let me tell you, those lips are TO DIE for <3

I find mouse work impressive. I tried to do it, and did it for a little while, and it's just so hard to keep the mouse and lines and stuff in control. Photoshop DOES make it a little easier, but most of it is how you handle the mouse, and you obviously do it fantastically ;D
And seriously? No one else has left a longer comment on this? That's so sad. It's a fantastic piece. After browsing your gallery, I think it's one of your stronger pieces. It kind of pops out at me more than the rest (and that's not saying that the rest isn't gorgeous, because it is).
Of course I noticed. I don't know how other people can't take the time to see that. There's a lot of depth and detail in the nose and lips, especially in the coloring. I also can't do noses too well, and I'm learning lips. So that might be another reason why it jumped out at me. It's really eye catching.

To be honest that's part of the reason I like it. People see it as more of a challenge and I think it's easier (not doing pencil makes tablet not fun). ^_^ AWWWWW thank you!
Yea this one is the most favorited/viewed picture. I'm not sure why. I posted it and got 7 favorites instantly, which is actually the inspiration I needed to restart the gallery. You'll notice a giant rift in progress where it goes from suck to decent... and if you check the dates you'll see I really had no motivation or comments so I all but gave up when that picture came along
Oh that's how I got into them was fiddling around with styles so i'd be happy. ATM i'm working on eyes i'd say.

Fiddling around with styles is the best way to improve. Be daring and go try that one thing in art that always made you nervous! Sure, you might "mess up the piece", but you also might improve it by a ton. Risk taking, w00t! XD

Oh if I see it one way not even a ravenous centipede could interfere. And I get the feel for a piece and draw it in the style I feel goes with it, you know what I mean? It's a good technique I suppose but when people say they like my style I'm not sure which they mean

I really like the pose and focus...this could totally be one of those Rolling Stone cover pictures. Nice shading on the arm; I'd expect the guitar to have a few more highlights.
