Ok, this is 's character Ardis. This is a giftart i'm doing for her. This is a little preview of what it is almost done. I liked it so much without the tattoo I had to add this too. I put a little faux background on as well, just to spruce it up a bit. Anyways, this is *NOT* the final. The final will be complete with back tattoo and hopefully an actual background (we'll see)comments and favs always appreciated!
And please do look at the final when it's done as well! (Should be sometime tonight)

I love the originality of this piece and the colours look beautiful. I love the chains on the wings. I love how you've managed to make an evil looking creature look almost angel like. The shading on the body is very good, but could do with a little more blending to make it look a little less staggered. Great work!

Thank you so much! The chains and wings are my favorite as well. The character design has a lot to do with that though, I think. It was a good thing to start out with. And thank you so much ^_^ Yea, blending in that program is never very good so it makes it a bit troublesome. I agree though

First off, the lighting effects are wonderful! I like how the body is appropriately colored based on the color of the light source. Not a big fan of the color of the horns and wings, but that's my opinion. Anatomy is good too

yes, i understand that and its was expected from where i stand.
but its an oportunity for me to read the bible and distort some things where i can. things have changed since the bible was written and thats give me ideas. I mean at some point the church was saying that the earth was flat and that women and black people have no souls.

im reading the bible because i want to learn stuff. its funny that in my comic i have made up stuff that they are not in the bible but other religions actually accept them! for example i made Cain being black and later on I learned that mormons actually think that the mark of cain were the black people! its funny ...making my own parody comic i can actually find out things outside the bible... that makes my comic even better! lol

Thanks so much! Yea the nails were one of the funnest parts to do! They, for whatever reason, make it way easier to draw the hands. And the wings I really dig too. Thanks so much! I was guessing on the shading really, so i'm glad you like it ^_^ To clear it up though, it doesn't come easy. I just see what I don't like and institute that into the next piece.

I love the shines on her skin and her hair. It really gives that three dimensional feel. Great job with the wings and horns too.. interesting creature. It makes me wonder what she's holding...
