With Sonic, Tails, Lux and Scarlet………

“Whoaaa………!” said both Lux and Scarlet with nervous looks on their faces as they, Sonic and Tails are falling down an outer space area with long pillars falling with them from the shifting hallway that they previously run on before they stop falling and is floating in space now.

“Phew, we stop falling.” said Lux with a relief look on her face.

“I don’t know what I expected, but it wasn’t THIS!” said Sonic with a shock look on his face.

“Fascinating……! I wish Natsumi’s here to see this too.” said Tails as he look at the outer space area around them with an intrigued look on his face.

“Uh huh. Any ideas on how we’ll get out of here, Tails?” said Sonic.

“Yeah, hang on, you two! And Lux, follow us!” said Tails as he quickly grab hold of both Sonic and Scarlet’s arms and bring them with him as he fly upward with Lux flying and following beside them.

“So, got any theory about this space that we’re in, bud?” asked Sonic as he glance at Tails.

“Well, my hypothesis is that Eggman has created a space where he can somehow circumvent normal spatial laws……… thus allowing him to construct an autonomously tessellating, proportionally expansive structure without concern over any typical physical limitations! If I can find sufficient evidence to support my hypothesis, then it’ll be a theory.” explained Tails to Sonic, Scarlet and Lux.

“Uh, come again, Tails?” said Lux in confusion to Tails (who let out a sigh).

“We’re in a weird bubble where Eggman’s messing with physics, I think.” said Tails.

“Uh……… So it’s some sort of trap?” said Sonic.

“Maybe, but considering how easily we broke out from the previous one, I’m not so sure. Eggman knows what we can do and if he meant to trap us in here, he would have compensated for that.” said Tails.

“Yeah, he would.” said Scarlet with a slight cold look on her face.

“There, an exit! As I suspected, this place isn’t as big as I thought.” said Tails as he spotted another metal doorway with the same swirling green and yellow energy in it.

“Oh yeah! Good work spotting an exit, Tails!” said Sonic proudly at Tails.

“Y-Yeah……… Come on. Anything’s better than here……… Let’s go!” said Tails as he and Lux and both Sonic flew down toward the metal doorway, went through the doorway and found themselves in another new and different area before Tails put both Sonic and Scarlet down on the ground and he and Lux landed on the ground too.

“And now my hypothesis is a theory.” said Tails.

“Yeah, you’re right as usual, Tails.” said Lux.

“
Ah, solid ground, my favourite!” said Sonic with a relief look on his face.

“Uh, don’t be too happy yet because the area we’re in now gives me some really creepy vibes, Sonic.” said Scarlet as she look at the dozens of silent two-storey houses around them.

Meanwhile, with Natsumi, Janus, Tangle and Belle………

“Should have brought raincoats or unbrellas with us because of this storm.” thought Natsumi as she try to protect herself and her pet Chao Janus from the storm above and around her, Janus, Tangle and Belle as Tangle drove and flew the hover bike over the ocean toward the tower until they saw it.

“There it is, the tower!” said Belle.

“Great! I’ll bring us in nice and easy.” said Tangle as she try to bring the hover bike carefully down on the tower only to end up crashing the hover bike on it. “Oof……… Or not.” added Tangle with a guilty look on her face.

“Seriously?” said Natsumi dryly at Tangle as she, Janus, Belle and Tangle quickly got off the now destroyed hover bike.

“Chao chao!” said Janus.

“Looks like we’ll need to find another way to get back.” said Belle sadly to them.

“Yeah, we know, Belle.” sighed Natsumi.

“That’s a problem for future us. Let’s get in there!” said Tangle as she walked past the destroyed robots lying on the floor, went through the opened front door and into the tower.

“Definitely looks like Sonic and the others came this way………” said Belle as she, Natsumi and Janus follow Tangle into the tower too.

“Obviously judging by the destroyed robot pieces lying on the ground outside the tower, Belle.” said Natsumi.

“Chao chao.” said Janus.

“Perfect! With any luck, we can catch up with ‘em in no time.” said Tangle excitedly to Natsumi, Janus and Belle (who’s staring at a huge red-coloured Eggman logo on the wall).

“Belle?” said Natsumi as she and Janus stop walking and turned to glance at Belle when they saw that she’s not following them.

“Huh? Sorry, I’m coming now!” said Belle apologetically to them before she turned and went after Tangle with Natsumi and Janus following behind her and they saw Tangle crouching on one knee near an air duct hole big enough for them to crawl in.

“C’mon! Just follow my lead……… I’m an expert stealth-er.” said Tangle confidently to Belle, Natsumi and Janus as they went into the air duct hole until they arrive at the other end of it and saw that they’re now inside a huge room with many flying wasp robots flying around the room and black and red robots going into or coming out of the metallic energy doorways.

“That’s……… different. Are they building something?” whisper Belle unsurely to Tangle, Natsumi and Janus.

“Looks like it, Belle.” whisper Natsumi.

“Anything they can built, we can bust them up! Now then, let’s start climbing!” whisper Tangle before she, Natsumi, Janus and Belle began climbing quietly up the walls toward the second floor above them.
