Your interpretation of that cutscene between Sora and Kairi - yep. I agree. It irked me a little that he said, "You'd kind of be in my way," but it's the truth and they both understood that, so he could say that without angering her/being a douche. (Hahaha yeah, I'm really into analysis and I have a lot of KH feels so this happens sometimes - analyze aaalllll the KH!)

I could not comment on all of the pages, because I was too much in awe of your skill. Your drawing skill is awesome, and so is your story...I'd say that this comic is better than the KH manga any day.

You had to make me cry! 
I recently watched the secret ending of BBS (don't worry, I won't spoil anything). Sora, spurred on by the King's message, prepares to leave the islands. All Kairi does is give him her charm, smiles and says something along the lines of "Come back soon!" I was so unbelievably angry at her when she did that. I could not believe she did that.
...But it makes sense. I'm too numb to strong female characters. It never occurred to me that Kairi could not fight if she was determined to do so. But, she can't. And she knows it. This reminded me of this fact. I feel there are so many things I forget. Thanks for the reminder.
PS: The art and writing are still spectacular!

She did do pretty well in KH2, though. For the ten seconds we got to see her fight. XD My hope re: the secret ending is that she and Riku have Important Things they need to go do. It's just sloppy storytelling if they've built her in the direction of being willing and able to fight and then not following through on that
