This was one of my favorite themes early in the Gnome shell cycle.

I hope you like this one [link]

Thx! Haven't gathered the courage to update for 3.6 yet, I might as well wait till 3.8 now.

I haven't gotten a definitive answer, but from what rumors I've read the 3.6 themes may work on 3.8. My fingers are crossed.

GDM3 setup ( [link] ) will handle the GDM theme.

Also, if you use the MGSE bottom panel extension you can add the code to carry the theme from the top panel.

Copy the entire entry for #panel, from the # to the } and paste it below the panel entry, change the name to #bottomPanel

Hey, sorry I took so long to answer. I've used gdm3setup in the past but it didn't really go as intended. Might as well give it another shot.
I've updated the css to support MGSE's bottom panel, please tell me in case it doesn't work (I don't have MGSE installed).

No problem, I'm still learning my way around this site and found a message someone sent last August.

Be well.

Nice work! As can be seen by my avatar and my website, I'm a sucker for this color scheme. To be honest, it's actually what finally got me on Arch.

I'm working on a GTK2/3 theme that works really well with this gnome shell theme you're working on.

you made my day!
and now only theme selector is missing, which i think, should be a part of GNOME!

Hehe, glad you like it^^ It's true that theme selector is a great idea, but it was still buggy (there were graphical glitches). I had a package over AUR, but seeing it wouldn't be updated for 3.2, I orphaned it. Gnome tweak tool is enough imho.

Yeah, I finally reinstalled my arch box from scratch this week-end (had troubles switching to uefi, lost a whole data partition in the process T_T), I'll be able to work on it soon. Sorry for the long wait, I had no (and still don't have) real internet connection for a while. Hope it will be sorted out soon!

Hey, I'm trying to get a custom svg background to stretch to fill, say the width of the left dock, and then repeat itself on the whole height. Do you know how to achieve this? I've tried background-repeat and background-size with no luck, both are not even recognized...

half-left In reply to Alucryd [2011-07-29 13:58:02 +0000 UTC]

You can use border-image: and you can use background-position: to place the image in a set place.

Alucryd In reply to half-left [2011-07-29 14:09:30 +0000 UTC]

Thank you, I'll try that, it's indeed better to set it as border-image:.
