Huh I didn't comment on this? Well anyway I think this one of my favorite sketches you did for inktober! He is going so fast, like he is about to break the sound barrier. I also like the slashing effect you did with the stuffing spilling out of the Oriel dummy. I can't remember clearly but I think you mention him hating his boss Oriel. Quite a fitting target I say!
Also the hatching you did with the dummy looks really nice.

This is epic!
Noob question, but when you are coloring traditional sketches on the computer how do you keep the hatch lines so visible? I always end up redrawing them :/

Thank you! When I draw digitally on top of traditional lines, I usually end up doing one of two things (or just both): I set the line layer to Multiply and duplicate it once or twice, adjust the opacity as I see fit, and merge those multiplied layers together. Either that or I adjust the darkness of the lines using Adjust Lighting>Levels.

I understand completely! It's quite a chore to worry about the lineart. Such a pain... To be honest drawing lines digitally pains me more than traditionally. I don't know why though.

It's so hard to put the frustration into words. Thanks again for the tip ^_^

You're welcome. Hope it helps. I forgot to mention that my methods are based off of PS Elements, so I'm not sure which program you use.

Oh, ok! Out of curiosity, what other programs do you use?

I use Sketchbook Pro 6 and Corel Painter Essentials 5. Painter Essentials is super fun for people like me who have a hard time giving up traditional media, because the brushes are designed to emulate those tools. Sketchbook is a fun lightweight program with a (mostly) intuitive streamlined interface.
I also have a "crusty" old copy of Photoshop CS4 that I break out whenever I need to work with a PSD that has complicated layers PS Elements can't interact with.
Sorry my replies have been taking so long. I used to be in the habit of checking my messages every day, but... I fell out of it and I won't make any lame excuses.
