Wow.. i love birds especially those with gorgeous wings.. for me they mean freedom. ^^

I know what you mean. This one is captive, but I'm lucky enough that I live next to a park that has at least three wild hawks in it. I get to see them almost every day when I go out, but they're always too far away to get a good picture.

beautiful shot. there is actually a dispute going on by birders over this bird. This is a ferruginous hawk, or ferruginous eagle as some call it.
