Description
For a studio assignment - the prompt was to use pattern in an open-choice piece. I was inspired by a trip to a local greenhouse and the fractaling and spiraling shapes of the tropical plants there. So I decided to design some deity-like beings that govern one of the different natural patterns - the branching shapes of roots and twigs (Lichtenberg figures), the fibonacci spiral, and the fractal. I'll probably keep that middle guy for some future artwork, his design was too fun to work on.

Beautiful! I didn't notice the intricacies at first, but it's awesome how if you look at them a while you see the patterns throughout the pieces.

I would really love to see how you did something like this since i'm trying to branch ( hehe ) out into some painterly styles. I find that the painterly works are very fluid and relaxing to do, particularly when stressed; and these are really amazing to look at adlsis//Β
