Oh, uhm. Well, because they're all pretty old and I've cleared my gallery a couple of times since.
But it looks like I need to take watermarking my stuff more seriously. None of these things have had permission to be posted on that site by anybody. So, thank you for bringing that to my attention.

It's alright! I'm not going to get them removed don't worry, haha. It just made me realize that people are reposting my things without asking me or even letting me know about it. And since anybody can do that anywhere, it's time that I actually start making obvious watermarks to my stuff.

Well, I don't think it says anywhere on your DA (like under the pictures) not to repost them. Why don't you just do that? I don't like watermarks, having part of the art covered up (unless it's over an empty space where it's not covering anything). People will assume it's okay to repost art if there's no warning from the artist. They think if they did have a problem with it, they would say it, so since they aren't saying it, they must not care. I think that would solve the problem.

That's just the issue. It should be the other way around; people shouldn't just assume that it's alright to post another artist's work to a different website without even letting them know.
It may have been different if they said "hey, I posted a thing here, just to let you know!" But the fact that it was reposted without my knowing at all bothers me greatly.

Watermarks that are in blank places are too easily removed. Asking people kindly not to repost artwork doesnt always work either. A couple of the things that I have up there have watermarks anyway, but not all of them. It probably won't be more severe than what they have so it should be alright

Ahhh, I can see the concerns of the design's theme being similar, like they definitely remind me of each other, but not in a bad sort of way! I don't think they're really that close, both feel easily identifiable to me.

I'm sorry, I was looking at the date on the [the original artwork]  that I posted to the jolleraptor that you linked me, hence the confusion!

To answer your concerns, no. I didn't reference another design while making any of these ones.

No, I didn't mean you. c: The date on yours is before the one on the jolle. And as far as I know, this isn't the first time (if it has been copied) that designs from other artists have been copied onto 'official' designs in that community.

I mainly brought this to your attention because that kobo is mine, and it's sour to see that he's been so heavily referenced, y'know? But I'm not going to go picking squabbles with the JR creator about it; I know better, considering who that person is. But I did bring it you, I guess as something of a heads up? I'm not trying to cause drama or anything, I guess I'm just a very disgruntled patron.

I honestly don't think Simonetry follows my work that closely, but if they turn out to have actually referenced this guy, I really, really don't think it's that close! Even if you just draw the heads side by side, both without color, I can tell the two apart pretty easily. And it's even easier with color, because of the splash of orange in mine and the different silhouettes in general really put the two apart in my eyes! Between the horn shapes and the sharpness of the ears on mine, even the tail

Yes, the designs are similar, and might've been referenced, but it doesn't feel close enough for me to start anything over.
