My first painting with a graphic tablet... done on a tiny Bamboo Fun (which I ended up giving away.) A doodle that took a couple of hours. It's how I imagine Ginny Weasley from Harry Potter in her twenties or so. I referenced a photo for the lighting on the hair!Related content

She also looks like Amelia Pond. It makes me sad, the story of fairy tails, killed from the writing in stone. (If you are a Whovien, you will get the reference, if not then ask and I'll explain.)

I keep looking at this, and the more i look at it, the more i realize what a work of art this is. That hair must have taken forever :-\ but it is the best hair i've seen! It looks like she's about to smirk...

Beautiful. For some reason, your style of drawing seems honest. Not too enhanced, not too much extravagance, just the image you can see in your head. That's a good thing, mind you.
Hm, if I may ask, did you start from drawing and then went to graphic tablet? And is it easy/difficult to work with one? I only draw atm and I'm considering buying a graphic tablet in the near future, but am still in doubt as to whether I'd be capable of putting it to good use. I'm not that good at photoshop and stuff... but I was wondering whether buying one would help me improve my skills.
