Hey everyone!Here's another QuickChick (tm). Spent more time messing around with curves and stuff for the background than on the actual portrait. Aaaaah i can't stop using that purple, what should I do? O__O
As usuaaaaal, no refs, around 6 hours I think, PS CS3.
Oh, and I want to take this opportunity to point out that I am, in fact, a dude. Some people seemed a bit confused about that part of my character recently. This is also the reason I paint girls all the time <3

heyheyhey.... i am a girl and i love to paint girls. and im not gay. the fact is that girls happen to be prettier and more often than not, they are just more interesting to look at. its universally known. those who say otherwise are lying!! i love your art btw.. ive been browsing here for a while and I am feeling more and more guilty for not practicing more. The rendering and your style is gorgous as always (I especially like the hair).
But there is something which bothers me. Where are her arms? I can see darkish undefined blobs below the sleeves, but nothing which appears to be "arms". Any thoughts on this?
I have a personal question if I may ask: Do you have a job as an artist? Where do you work at?

'dude', cant believe you call THIS a 'quick' portrait. I would spend the same amount of time on a portrait and yours would still be 50 times better! Love the colours and her expression is really cool
