On my Tumblr (now with cry cry version!)-> [link]I imagine Loki being a very proud father, if not very good at parenting. I know Odin it’s not like the greatest role model but Loki… Dude has to take responsibilities.
Loki loves his children, but whenever he spends time with Sleipnir he gets guilt ridden very quickly. Sleipnir the magnificent stallion that should be free to roam wherever he pleases is instead Odin’s mount.
I suppose I could spend hours rendering the shit out of this, but it’s time to move on.

I'd love it if they put Sleipnir in the Marvel films. I wonder how they'd do that... an eight-legged horse... hmmm..
Regardless of how they'd do it, Loki needs someone to love and care for, and his children would be perfect

They did, Sleipnir was in Thor 1. Odin was riding him when he arrived in Jotunheim to stop Thor from starting a war with the Jotuns.

Lovely work. In my fanfiction he is a good father if a little misguided and overbearing as parents are won't to be. The smile is wonderful...love the apple. Nice touch.

Holy crap, this is gorgeous! Your art style is fantastic, and Loki's expression looks like it could have been c/p-ed directly from Tom Hiddleston's face (which is a compliment and a testament to your talent; most of the Loki fanart around here does resemble him, but not nearly as many have recreated it so well that it could almost be a screenshot from the movie, minus the purposeful textures). You really captured the aura, there, and I like that he looks both happy and lonely. (I, too, totally see Loki rocking it as a parent, btw 
Anyway, again - fantastic job. Totally adding this to my favorites!

Oh, this is lovely. I feel like plenty of the people that say he's just misunderstood, but in my mind he's still mental...except when it comes to his kids. Because for some reason I picture him as a fantastic parent, wanting to be everything his father wasn't.

I keep wondering if Loki gave Sleipnir to Odin because he was afraid that if he kept Sleipnir himself or set him free to roam, Odin would have had Sleipnir destroyed, whereas this way Odin is proud to keep Sleipnir himself and (presumably) treats him reasonably well.
