The coloring is horrible*, I know. When I drew the lineart, this was probably the best of any Animaniacs fan art I've done; Rita turned out great. Until I realized I didn't have the right shade of gray. So now she has a weird blueish tinge. Bleh. Runt's a little better off, but he's still too pale. Suffice it to say that you won't catch me coloring anymore Rita and Runt fan art.

Rita and Runt's** probably the most underappreciated Animaniacs skit I know; I personally enjoy it somewhat***. Still, it has a dedicated fanbase. I find that it's not bad, just different. It deals with more serious themes and has less (obvious) humor than the other skits, but I think it's perfectly fine.

*It looks better on the scan, though still far from satisfactory.
**Animaniacs and its characters, including Rita and Runt, are the property of Warner Bros.
***Unlike other skits which I see getting bad reviews, such as the Hip-Hippos and Mindy and Buttons. In these cases the criticism is well deserved (in my opinion).

Edit: After a bit of searching around DeviantArt, I'm surprised how well Rita and Runt - but mostly Rita - are represented. Maybe their fans tend to be more artistic?
