Ahhh! this is one of my favorite fanarts ever! I love the range of emotions and all the stories I can make to explain them. My current favorite is that Grantaire knows about the ring he saw Combeferre buy for Enjolras, and he decides he's okay with it, meanwhile Combeferre is wishing there were a way to legally include Grantaire in their marriage, because even though he knows without a doubt that Enjolras would choose him over Grantaire when it comes to who to marry (Enj has said as much), he doesn't want him to have to. Joly meanwhile is realizing that choosing between Bossuet and Musichetta is a reality now and wonders if it's really egalite after all. Jehan is thinking of all those who have fought and died for this moment and Courfeyrac is Courfeyrac.
